By french artist Fabienne JOUVIN (born in 1962), renowned for her wonderful cloisonné enamels on copper. The tea pots are probably her most famous and iconic creation. Some of her artworks are already visible in museums around the world.
Here, a small covered pot from her “BLUE ECLIPSE” collection.
Decoration of vertical thin stripes in various shades of deep blue, almost black depending on the light. Insertion of circles and round geometrical patterns in sand, sage and burgundy tones, creating a nice contrast with the darker background.
Matching round cover, circles and spirals on the top.
Interiors of both the jar and the cover apple green.
Entirely hand decorated.
True piece of art.
Signed FABIENNE JOUVIN PARIS under the base.
France, 1990s.
