Made of brass, assembly with small rivets and hinges. Closing of the foldable parts with latches. Nice chiseling on the tail.
Hand made, antique craft, very likely from India circa 1950.

The opening / closing latches work perfectly.
One of the two small containers is leaking, so you should not use it, or add an extra container inside to make if impermeable.
